Pingelap Atoll is a remote island community in the Federated States of Micronesia, located southeast of Pohnpei.
Life on the island is closely connected to the ocean and the land, with food production centered around fishing and traditional crops such as breadfruit, coconut, and taro.
This initiative was developed to convert Pingelap’s abundant local resources into stable, commercial-ready products.
By introducing clean energy-powered processing systems, the project enables consistent quality, reduced losses and scalable production suited for buyers and distributors.
